International conference Innovations for the Blue Planet 2024

The International Conference 2024: Innovations for the Blue Planet is to be held from 23 to 25 April 2024 in Stockholm. The conference is organized and sponsored by WaterCentre@KTH together with Blue Food – Centre for Future Seafood and the Royal Swedish Academy of Science (KVA) with support from the KTH Digitalisation platform.

The conference brings together top researchers – among them two Stockholm Water Prize Laureates – and societal actors to explore the latest findings on processes, methods, and technologies for innovative solutions in a water-wise world.

Digitalization in the water sector can have several benefits for society, the economy, and the environment by improving the planning for the management and valuation of the resource, aiding in water use optimisation, enhancing transparency through data and model sharing, and through that, also promoting multidisciplinary cooperation. Sessions on this topic will relate to Digital Platforms, Observation and monitoring, Digital Transformation and Digital Futures.

Call for abstract! All abstracts must be submitted through the online platform. The deadline for abstract submission is extended to 15 February 2024.

Date: 23 to 25 April 2024
Venue: Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA), Stockholm & online
Information & registration: blueplanetconference.se
