Fulvio Amato is a Senior Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) with a PhD in Natural Resources and Environment at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain). Amato is a Research fellow at the Center for Air Resources Engineering and Sciences (NY, US) and TNO (Utrecht, Netherlands).
The plan during the SIR programme is to understand the role of different sources in atmospheric ultrafine particle (<100 nm in diameter) concentrations in the city of Stockholm in collaboration with SLB Analys.
