Scholar in residence August – November 2024
Carrie Demmans Epp is a computer scientist who works at the intersections of applied linguistics, human-computer interaction, and artificial intelligence. In all cases, her work aims to support human learning of knowledge and skills.
During her visit she will explore the use of large-language models for supporting students in managing their learning processes. This will include co-design activities and the repurposing of LLMs to support the needs of learners, including language learners, and students who receive support services.
