Jonas Adler at Deepmind: Keynote Speaker for Digitalize in Sthlm 2024

Digital Futures proudly announces Jonas Adler, Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind’s Gemini team, as a keynote speaker at the upcoming Digitalize in Sthlm 2024 event on 17 October.

Jonas Adler is a staff research scientist on Google DeepMind’s Gemini team, where he builds state-of-the-art models for language and media generation. Previously, he worked on AI for Science at DeepMind for five years, notably as an AlphaFold team member. Before that, he researched cancer imaging at Elekta while doing an industrial PhD in applied mathematics at KTH. He holds an MSc in engineering physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

In the abstract of his talk AI for science and more, Adler explains; _Solve Intelligence, use it to solve everything else_; this modest mission is why I joined DeepMind. Generative AI has enormous potential to address real problems. I’ll outline some of my experience, from early forrays into imaging cancer to solving protein folding with AlphaFold to Generative AI models of today and tomorrow.

Digital Futures eagerly anticipates Adler’s insights at Digitalize in Stockholm 2024 – now hurry up – REGISTRATION is open!
